| Bio: | Some athletes come to the Snowman Race once. Luke Nelson is coming back for his third. A professional trail and ultramarathon runner from Idaho, Luke was part of the inaugural Snowman Race in 2022 and returned for the second edition in 2024. Across both experiences, he has developed a deep connection with Bhutan, the Himalayas, and the race’s mission beyond the trail. Beyond racing, Luke is a physician assistant specializing in wilderness medicine, a backcountry search and rescue team leader, snow safety professional, and the owner of Alpine Endurance Medicine. Now, Luke returns to Bhutan for a third time. |
