Hello friends, we would like to remind you, that we will open registration for RACZ25 today at 20.15 and except of this superb event, you can also join us for other 3 challenges.

RESTPOINTS AND ORGANIZATION OF RACZ25
An integral part of Race Across Czechia became the trio of so-called RestPoints, the aim of which is to break up that long multi-day pilgrimage into shorter sections and provide a kind of "point of reference", but above all to give RACZ ...participants the opportunity to meet with our team, share impressions with their comrades, take a break for a while, reward themselves with good food and also stay here overnight, if necessary.

Already 3 years ago, we got rid of attribute "unsupported" from Race Across CZ - although we are convinced that even our participants would manage to pass our event without RestPoints - and we moved to slightly different path. Our goal is not so much achieving extreme performances, we consider as most important to enjoy our event and our effort is to make the painful journey across Czech Republic more pleasant for you, from time to time. We gradually learn and gather experience with each other edition, and we hope that you will appreciate their presence at RACZ25 as well.

What will be new in terms of organization? Actually, not much...

Just RP1 will be a little later than this year at (205.km), but we still believe that the vast majority of participants will arrive here before closing time. It will be summer, so we will not organize overnight stay on RP1, and to simplify the service here, we will not offer an option of choosing from 3 hot meals - you will have to be OK with one "universal" food and one type of soup.

At RP2 and RP3, food will only be ordered on the spot, but for that it will be possible to treat yourself with an overnight stay or nap, on a soft bed and under the roof.

A positive innovation in RACZ25 organization will be the possibility to take some small refreshments at the RP, in addition to water or isotonic drink, as a part of entry fee... In return, however, we will make the work a little easier for our teammates and will introduce "self-service" between midnight and 6 a.m.

For next year, we have arranged RestPoints in the following three facilities:
205.km - Restaurant Šéba, Rakovník
555.km - Pension U Svatého Jan, Svobodné Dvory
870.km - ATC Šternberk

In addition, we will include again one refreshment station, as was this year on Klínovec. Next year, we would like to have it in the gazebo of amphitheater under Loket Castle, but here we are still waiting for approval.

From the second day, as always, organizational "gifts" and meetings with our team will decrease, and you will be able to merge more closely with nature and enjoy the beautiful solitary life of a bikepacker, without too much disturbance.

RACZ25 ROUTE - 4TH SECTION
ŠTERNBERK - GIROVÁ
Well, today we will finish introducing of RACZ25 Route with its fourth section, which has 290 km and 4000m elevation and leads through regions of Moravia and Silesia.

After hilly begining in Nízký Jeseník and Oderské vrchy, we ...included one long flat section along Odra rivers and Ostrava area, to relax a bit before hard final hundered in Beskydy mountains, where riders will visit also the mosteastern point of Czechia and CZ/SK/PL triborder nearby picturesque village Hrčava.

ROUTE AND POINTS OF INTEREST: Šternberk castle – Trusovický potok valley – basilica on Svatý Kopeček – Hlubočky – Jívová – Město Libavá - st. Anna´s church in Stará voda – slate mine Staré Oldřůvky – Budišovka valley – old water mill Wesselsky – Odry – Fulnek – Kanihůra lookout tower – Studénka - Ostrava - Žermanice water dam - Třinec - Jablunkov - Beskydy mountains - Hrčava triborder

RACZ25 ROUTE - 3RD SECTION
HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ - ŠTERNBERK
Third section of RACZ25 will have 315km and 4000m elevation and will lead through Hradec Králové, nearby forests Hradecké lesy, along river Orlice to foothills of Orlice mountains.

Then you will visit Poland for cca 30km ...section around Miedzylesie and after more than 650km you will move to Moravia. Here you will hit the highest points of RACZ25, in 1130m altitude, near Sky Walk and Sky Bridge above Dolní Morava.

After this hilly section you can relax during 100 km push along Morava river and another 20 km in flat region of Haná. RP3 at 870km is waiting in beatufil forest of Sovinecko area,

RACZ25 ROUTE - 2ND SECTION ... WITH RIDE THROUGH PRAGUE!
Second section of RACZ25 - between RP1 and RP2, from Rakovník to Hradec Králové - will be pretty long, cca 350km ... but fast, with rather low elevation of 3500m.

It will be another section with beautiful landscapes, but also... will include one absolute highlight of RACZ history - only during 2025 edition you will have a chance to ride through the historical centre of Prague and enjoy its atmosphere at late night or in the early morning.

Second half of this section will bring you between rocks a forests of Bohemian Paradise and finally, you will be able to unleash your imagination on the bloody fields reminding a cruel Battle of Chlum, which took place in 1866.
